Expressions of art are the dreams of society. They show us how things could be, how they are, what we want, and what we fear through novel and honest abstractions. As an artist, you work as a piece of the subconscious mind in our collective human body; often being suppressed or discounted to ignore reality or simply by lacking priority over the human body’s never ending pursuit of food, stability, and procreation. But in those small moments of rest, when the work is done and the body sleeps, briefly free from the needs of the flesh, art will be there as a dream, reminding us of what we missed.
